Solution

Radiant designed a cXML-based punch-out solution that allowed for the punch-out from the client environment to go to the external catalog, browse the catalog, add products for purchase, send for approval within SAP SRM, and then send the order back to the vendor for execution within the vendor’s system.

Benefits

An integrated system for the entire workflow led to multiple benefits.

  • The current catalog from vendors is integrated into the client system and is always available for buyers.
  • Uniform and structured buying process.
  • Covers multiple aspects of the purchasing process: secure punchout, catalog browsing, approval, and purchase workflow.
